Girl Scout Luncheon (Troop 1225)
March 24, 2018

Many of our young girls are members of the Girl Scouts. On March 24, their troop-1225—hosted a spring luncheon at our building for any ladies over 50 years old. The girls helped decorate, they prepared the food, and then served almost 80 ladies who came to celebrate the season of Spring. It was also the first time that our young ladies were able to show their talents and they demonstrated extraordinary abilities in art, music, dance, and writing. We are so proud of the young ladies who serve so many at our church.

Winterfest 2018, “IF…”
If God is for us, then who can be against us? Romans 8:31

A group of 40 left the church building on a Friday in mid-February and returned two days later ready to conquer the world, as it came back filled with the assurance that, in Christ, there is no condemnation. Our group was among thousands of youth who spent the weekend in Gatlinburg lifting voices in praise, equipping spirits, laughing, crying, and recommitting lives to Jesus. In between powerful sessions, there was a little sightseeing and a whole lot of eating! We eagerly await Winterfest 2019’s, “Just One.” Until then, we will continue to motivate each other to keep up the passion we brought back home, as we go out into our schools and community and give God away.
